I guess so! My buddy who sells airsoft guns brought one in for show and tell on sat, and was bought by another player 3 hours later. I'm tellin you this gun was solid, give it a few months for the GBBRs to work their minor quirks out, and these guns will be hot.

Just a thought.. but if you bought this gun, wouldnt you first start looking for a more reinforced lower receiver anyways?... just a thought

The real steel SCAR has a polymer lower. All airsoft version have a polymer/plastic lower too. G&G's nylon composite is one of the strongest you can find in airsoft guns, so no. Anyway, no one sells only SCAR lowers, except maybe G&G directly... but then the only difference would be the color, not the strenght or whatever, so in my opinion the only suitable option would be our dear friend Krylon.

actually making plastic clear also makes it brittle.
a colored piece of plastic is a lot more flexible than a clear piece of plastic, which is why you hear so many horror stories about how clear receivers crack easily, but almost none about how colored plastic ones do with the same usage. |

For all the folks who fear "clear plastic", what colour lenses do your goggles have? Solid or clear?
We have a bunch of the clear lower guns out a the last game. It's a bit jarring in the safe zone, but when the game is on it's the last thing you'd notice.

Fine, I'll accept clear receivers if they are made of ANSI z87.1 plastic. Of course it would be retardedly expensive, but eeh.
