Reducing FPS on WE SCAR GBBR
Im looking to drop the FPS on the WE SCAR (GBB) so it can be used indoors (but can be repaired for outdoor power). I need to drop it from its 400 some FPS to 320 at the max.
Whats the quickest, easiest way to do this? Last edited by REZ; October 29th, 2009 at 22:19.. |

A spring change is the only way to loose that much really.

Buy and install a Modify 90 spring. PM Jugglez to get one.

Curse you edit button!
A .4 in a gbb will likely INCREASE your muzzle eneregy from .2's, It'll slow it down some but you still need to be chrono'd with .2's. |

Spring change will work...and i'm pretty sure the fields chrono the guns with .20 so it doesn't really matter what bbs you use.

In all fairness the original DID NOT say gbbr.

So the first was a mistake that's fine but posting "spring change" after it has been corrected twice that is just lazy

Shit, sorry, just saw it editted to be a GBBR.
Use keyboard duster gas to reduce the velocity. You could drop it by 100fps if you use the right stuff. There are two types of keyboard duster (look at the label on the back of the label, it must say, at least in the warning/medical treatment part of it, the type of gas it uses. Diflouroethane is the weaker of the two, Tetraflouroethane is stronger (but not as powerful as propane). Easy way to rememer it is di means two, tetra means four, so the higher number equals the output pressure difference. |
