what is the main problem with that grip ? I haven't used one yet and I was looking foward to but I'm wondering why not using it if other CF people says they don't like it

Having the Cadex grip on your AEG would still be 100% accurate, but I'm just saying you aren't only limited to that one grip to have a accurate C7 repro.

Myself I dislike the Cadex grip due to it's size and that it isn't a solid piece, it's moveable(down and up position)

I concur with Skeletor, I find the grip a really uncomfortable design.

A strong amount of sideways pressure can make it pop off.

I find it too small for my hand, and not close enough to the rail.

Bringing this thread back from the grave because I got my G&G Triad last week! For whatever reason no one seems to stock them in-country, so I ordered it from airsoftzone.co.uk, one of the only sites I could find that stocks it. They don't ship outside the UK through their site directly, but they're perfectly happy to if you just send them an email.

Since I first posted this thread I've also front wired it (the battery lives in a PEQ-2) and obtained a C7A2-marked lower receiver (thanks to a member here, though I'm sorry I forget who), an M16A2 flash hider, the bit that goes between the stock and body with a left side sling mount, a stock pad for the C8-style stock, the Triad, and (not in the pictures here) these rubber rail covers cut to fit the bottom and right side rails.

That humungous grip on the cocking handle looks like it would get caught on your LBE or even just clothing while moving. What's the deal with that? Is that on the real C7A2 as well?

Yes. When I was serving I bought a used armalite stock cocking handle and replaced the "ambi" one whenever I went into the field. It was a pain in the ass; I was forever showing people how to repair them in the field.

You can also get the weapons tech to switch it out for a non ambi cocking handle as well. It all depends on the unit.
