Exclamation Mp5 to HK94 Conversion (Your thoughts inside)

I'm looking to buy the following parts to upgrade my Marui clone ABS MP5 to a HK94

Metal front cocking tube
King arms silencer adapter for Mp5 (negative 14mm)
Metal body (Upper receiver and lower receiver)
Mp-5 HK94 Conversion outer barrel
Mad bull airsoft Black Python 6.03mm tight bore inner barrel (509mm)
Improved 50% hop up AEG bucking (semi-hardened silicone)
MP5k short mag (23 rounds)
Mp-5 UMG Side Folding Stock (for a G36 sort-a look)

Would this be a good conversion for a AEG. I've seen a few pics of people using this conversion and they looked awsome so I wanted to know if itd be worth it. Final price for all the above upgrades will be about $500 to $550

I have always loved the look of an MP5. It is by far my favorite weapon. The HK94 kit looks absolutely amazing. I will build one sometime for sure.

If you want to get the full benefir of having a longer barrel, you will have to change the mechbox cylinder. It would be ideal to have as much compression as possible. A higher velocity spring would also be beneficial.

Systema type '0' cylinder
Metal bushings (choose what brand)
Spring (SP100, PDI 150%, PDI 170%, M100, M120 etc)

Also, when having a higher velocity spring, a systema silent set would be a good idea. The piston head will smack the cylinder head pretty hard with an upgraded spring. Overtime, i would imagine the stock mechbox would get a hairline crack.

It all depends on how much you want to spend. The way i see it is- You spend $500 just making the gun metal, HK94 conversion barrel etc. Why not spend the extra bit of cash to make it a really great AEG?

Im just trying to help out!

Cheers man!

Agreed, Heckler and Koch is my favorite manufacture. The MP-5 being my favorite in their series. But the HK94 is a mighty fine.

I wouldn't mount a bipod on the barrel, it would never be done with the real steel and it seems like you're trying to go for that kind of accuracy. I don't know how long the "conversion kit" is, but a team mate machined his own barrel, and could fit a 509mm barrel without a silencer. With a silencer, it would probably be pretty unweildy. MP5K mags can usually be found without too much trouble... We can't comment much on the price as ours are so different. The UMP stock is frickin' awesome.

Beleive me I plan on making the gun incredible internally, I just wanted everyones ideas on the conversion. Do you think it'd be a good counter sniper?
And how much would it cost to make everything top notch internal wise?
EDIT: P.S. the stock mechbox is full metal so I'm not sure about the hairline crack

The silencer adapter is to mount the Conversion kit (its negative 14mm) not to attatch a silencer... lol ...it would be a beast with a silencer on.

TM made a HK51 limited edition version awhile back, it was based of the MC51 (G3). The front end parts from that model would port over to a MP5 very easily for such a project.

Definately go for the extended barrel instead of the silencer look. HK94's are sweet.

If it's a TM knock-off, it's probably going to be weaker than a TM box, and I wouldn't trust a TM box 100% of the time with anything stronger than a 120%. My teammate's HK94 with a TM box is getting hairline cracks using a Guarder SP100, with ZERO full auto fire. Full auto will put a hell of a lot more wear on it than semi, even if the number of rounds fired is the same.

( o Y o )'s custom hk94sg1
internals are basically ideal for the setup, for some reason this is the only gun on our team that has never fucked up. it also has pretty much obscene range, couple it with the external hop adjustment and you can get some pretty crazy shots (turn hop up, aim into a valley and rock a guy 180ft away :P).
-systema torque up gears
-systema silent head set
-systema bushings
-guarder sp100 spring
-tm m16 barrel and cylinder
the silent head set is probably a big part of this gun having worked so well for so long. defintely pick one up.

Do you think the Mad Bull Black Python 6.03mm inner barrel (509mm) is better than a stock TM M-16 barrel. Also do you think I should get a SP110 or a SP100
I want a counter-sniper gun while still retaining the use as a woodland gun. (Wont be using it in CQB) Also which is the best outer mechbox shell for the money (Need a version 2). Does anybody have any pics of an airsoft HK94, I REALLY want to see what my project will end up like. (google didnt have any good picks and the pick that guarder supplied is only the front of the gun.) Thanks for the two you posted!, You have anymore? Also do they make metal MP5K short mags. (I want to have this HK94 looking as close as possible to the real thing, the real-steel used short mags) Anyway thanks for all the help and enthusiasm for the project. Almost forgot are you sure a 509mm barrel will fit the Mp5 with the HK94 barrel attached. Because I read elsewhere in the forums that it would not fit. IF it is too big what AK47 barrel is the best regardless of price. EDIT: How long is that HK94 SG1 barrel???

i have no idea how good the madbull barrels are.
putting an sp110 will result in a hot gun.
woodland gun = countersniper gun (what are you on?)
why do you need more pics? all the details you'd need for doing the project youre describing are visible and clearly explained.
the real hk94 can take any mp5 mag not just short ones (pics usually include short mags because it can be purchased by civilians).
the barrel is custom made as harley stated and was designed to work with the 509mm inner barrel. i dont know what the aftermarket airsoft ones handle.

Oh, I didnt explain why I wanted the short mags, I also wanted it so when I'm prone close to the ground I wont have the long MP5 mag digging a hole in the ground. I'm 2 different things on my team when they need a countersniper, I'm their man, when they just need another reguler grunt, I'm ready for that too. Anyway thanks for the help, still if anyone knows the maximum length barrel for the aftermarket guarder hk94 kit it would be greatly appreciated. Hey what bipod would be the best for this, to be mounted on a guarder RIS handgrip.

Hey has anyone seen that Nitro-vo rail sleeve, that looks really good and it gets the front sight outta the way of my scope. Anybody know if its worth it. Price is about $90

EDIT: Here's some pics I found.

Wish they made a mag that small, love how it looks.

Do You guys think this would look good on my conversion just the OD parts

If I put a SPR flashider on the end of the conversion kit do you think it'd look good?? If not look at the list and suggest the best one for the HK94 conversion

SPR Flashider

List of Flashiders

SPR silencer ( It'd be just for looks)

:!: EDIT: Check out this bipod, imagine this on the RIS hangaurd. :!:

Bipod M-60 Style

Also should I purchase a full gear box intead of messing with my gearbox. If I bought one for a G3 do you think it would work since I will have a longer inner barrel (They use TYPE-0 cylinders right? Because thats what I need for the extra length of the inner barrel.) Its a version 2 gearbox for both the MP5 and G3 right??
