^Nice of you to show up!

On my end, got a 7.4 1200mah lipo and ran a quick test on the G36c. All sluggishness is gone! I have now shelved it temporarily while I learn proper lipo etiquette.

As said about the famas, the ROF is insane now. Any chance it can damage anything? Its not as high as some 11.1v videos I've seen, but damn.

Again, thanks to everyone for the guidance!

Uses the original 8.4v 1300mAh NiCad battery. Gun shoots perfectly fine on semi and auto, however it randomly stops firing. Once you press the little spring-decompress button (located behind the selector switch on the bottom of the stock), it fires normally.
This needs to be done regularly. It fires on full auto and empties an entire mag without problems. But sometimes when you pause between shots (or when you reload), it stops working and only resumes after the decompress button is pressed. I read that the decompress button was only used when storing the AEG. So could this be caused by a bad spring? I dont know if V1 mechboxes are easy or hard to fix, but again any help is appreciated!
This is a known issue with the V1 mechbox. If it's a stock FA-MAS I would recommend NOT running anything more than an 8.4v battery. I ran mine on an 8.4v 1800Mah large battery, and it ran quite well.

You will have no issue using the spring decompress feature as necessary. The trick is to try and not let the trigger off mid-cycle. Hard to do and unfortunately it's part of life for the V1.

Hi Folks
Im working on a New TM Famas SV
I replaced the Piston head with a Modify Bearing style ported,
Spring guide with a Madbul V2 (with a machine screw to secure it) and
the spring with a Modify 100.
rewired with Milspec & its been Shimed, lubed and re assembled

Using an 8.4v 1300 mah NiCd its shooting 348 - 350 FPS @ 13 bbs per second.
(i get about 600 rounds before the battery starts loosing power - the battery is a few years old)

it works well in full auto but In Semi, regularly the trigger doesnt engage,
if you switch to full auto and shoot a couple, then switch it back to Semi,
it works but then it can stop engaging again at any time.

I didnt remove/adjust the Semi auto cutt off lever but i had removed the
trigger set to re wire it.
Any one have an Idea that i can try to solve this issue.
