I remember putting that thing together....what a P.O.S. Granted, when you loaded them up, I thought they wore pretty well in the field. However, I was quite often tasked to Enemy Force, so I usually just used the ALICE when I could. And, the first thing I removed on it was the frame.

Unless you're talking about the ALICE, how the hell did you remove the pack frame on your ruck?... I'm confused.

Mighty mouse, I'm in Port Credit Mississauga. Bring all the gear that you were issued relating to you ruck I'll give you the lesson on assembly. God knows I've threaded enuff of them. THe 64 frame looks like this
The 82 pat ruck looks like this And this is ALICE
If they issued you any other webbing I can assemble that for you too. I've been doing since 1991. No Charge, I'll toss you a few of my biz cards though, Sunday is best, PM me if your interested. Hope the pics help.
Cheers

Just got back from my second course weekend now. Thanks to all who offered help. While attempting to put my rucksack together, I discovered that on my quick release velcro straps, the buckles are actually stitched on backwards! that's one more problem to sort out.
