But seriously it used to be possible in the Reserves. There was some stigma attached if you downgraded trades (I wont' get into that). Int seemed to be the hot one back in my day but some guys also went from Land to Air.

When you ask this question you flag yourself. You're in essence saying get me out of chicken shit unit, and that's not always smart.
The folks further up the food chain will now start to look at you as a bag who just wants to sit in a warm truck instead of getting out in the action with a pick and shovel.
