Giving out as much personal information on the website as he/they do, would be kind of stupid if he was just going to jump ship with your money. It's a fair bet that it is legit, but just in case I've posted the info above. Not for beating the crap out of someone, but for legal issues that can be settled in a civil court of law

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if Ancorp gets his model

Not quite what I meant.

This is stinking of a scam.. the pictures on their website are googled, The pictres they provided as "Proof" are googled...

Their finished products are WAY too high detail to be resin casts...

Just make sure you have a cell handy when you don't receive what you payed for.

I'm just playing the devil's advocate here... I'm to young to buy airsoft guns; But to me this place seems really really fishy.. It almost seems that everyone's blinded by the "CHEAP ALTERNATIVE!!" factor than the...

-They've used images from the internet as examples on their web-page
-They used images from the internet when caught with the web page ones
-Their "Finished products" were... Laughably realistic for a mold...

I'm gonna wait to see how this one turns out.

Pretty much. After being caught, they yoinked more photos off the web and claimed it was theirs again too.

This is just too funny.

Prove it.

Take a picture of one of your high detail complete models next to a piece of paper that says "THIS IS REAL ASC, with today's date" and with a drinking glass (Just so you can't photoshop the peice of paper in.. Glass is hard to photo shop into things )

If you do that, I'll PM you an apology

I will do that when I get the materials this week. And when I was talking about us not taking the images, I was talking about the ones from Cushman. If you read his site, its no coincidence that his unbuilt models are exactly what I have previously described many times about what the external of the guns are made of.

Is it really neccessary to ask them to jump through all these hoops and take pretty pictures next to today's newspaper just to prove that they have an actual product?

Instead of making them waste their time by trying to defend themselves here, why not let them finish some products and ship it out to those who ordered? A review by a customer with an actual product in their hands is worth more than a picture of a gun with a glass of water.

I certainly believe that the introduction of this company and the products they have to offer could have been done differently, particularly in regards to the aforementioned pictures and a better explaination of their products (ie. plastic shells ordered from Cushman). However, I'm still optimistic about the arrival of a larger variety of WW2 airsoft guns for a decent price.

They shouldn't waste their time on photos of that sort, they're just starting up their website and we should wait for a review of their product(s) before asking them to post high quality photos on their website.

However, for those who don't want to wait for a review, an up to date image of the finished product (or even the unfinished product) would help them in deciding whether they should choose to purchase the product or not. Low-quality pictures, taken by someone other than yourself, but used on your website is understandable; but not all may share this understanding. Guns that are being sold for $400-500 less than stock AEG's, and $700+ less than their WWII airsoft counter-parts leaves consumers with only your word to trust. They're even half the price of some Chinese made AEG's, so it should be understandable that there is some frustration on how the company was introduced to ASC.

Still though, patience is needed by all on this forum if this company is to make it off the ground. My views have changed overnight, and I'm anxious to hear from ancorp about his purchase.
