ok, a few lessons learned tonight.........

installing a new hammer spring is a pain in the ass!!!

installing guarder metal mag catch is easier than tying shoes

also, the PROUD enhanced recoil springs are not meant for "full slide" movemebt, and delete the slide lock capability. now, on the G26, there are two springs on the recoil, so i used the stock UN CUSTOM ENHANCED long spring, and the PROUD shorter spring, and the recoil feels MUCH nicer. this also retains full slide movement, so my slidelock works still

here you can see the proud front spring, and the UN CUSTOM "enhanced" long spring.........

also, the enhanced GUARDER mag top (part 207 IRC) is fucking PLASTIC, and a waste of money since my stock mag came with a metal one.

oh, and the impact hammer (stainless) is a nice looking piece, but a pain in the ass to put in.

you can KINDA see the nice shiny impact hammer here.........

other than that, the gun is firing nicely. i need to get more gas, and will chrono again soon.

oh, and the new piston head, looks like it is for a TM, not a KSC, so i gotta see if i can make it work somehow.

i didnt try the new high flow valve yet, but i am hoping it flows better then the hack job of a valve UNCOMPANY sent me.

and still no reply to the above email.

as an aside, i was looking CLOSELY at my slide last night, and it appears the trades are actually slightly recessed in the slide, yet white painted. any suggestions to get the white out of there? any chemicals? or should i scratch it with a pin and see what happens?

thoughts?

not tht anyone cares, but i found a pen to get rid of the white trademarks, and it rocks!!!!

also, i was wondering why the gun felt weak lately, well i had part #27 in backwards, and holy hell does it make a difference....

this thing is an animal now, and has a VERY REAL blowback. much like the 9mm real steel (not the .40 cal)

and the sound, holy hell, insane!!!!!

in all reality mr STYRAK, i have the real steel, so i think my opinion might just count here. and yes, more like the 9 than the 40, i said it, and mean it.

as for the bastards: they are braking in half upon impact on DRYWALL. go ahead and say this thing is weak. i was honest with the last chrono, and will be with the next, what do i care............

here is what they do to a miller lite can. just an FYI, the shot can was perfectly straight BEFORE one shot............

not only does it goe through BOTH sides, but it fucks up the entry!!!! it enters and EATS stuff now. i am happy. i will get video with sound so STYRAK will believe his eyes

Great gun, nice reading this thread, but I wonder something... if it is that much important to you to achieve the highest FPS (let say 400fps)... why don't you buy a chrono???

Personnaly, I'm doing the same thing as you with my airsofts, always trying to get the most FPS possible... and whenever I do the slightless modifications to them, I passed them on my chrono, always, even after each clean up: chrono.

^^

Fairly extensive modifacations so far and it looks as if everything is holding up very very nicely.

Once youve completed this power up project you should start a new one with a desert eagle. Something my head just think its would be awesome.

What was the last chrono anyways? I can't find it if it was posted. What was it?
