Hi,
After opening the box, would you still recommend metal bushing and shimming? Also, would you still rate the HK416 at 7/10? Thanks |

Yes, I recommend replacing the plastic bushings with metal ones, if you can find bushings that will make it fit properly. Reshimming is also a good idea.

Any specific bushing model in mind?
Also, the mech box is no a systema replica, but rather a TM replica? |

Mechbox is a systema clone

Mechbox is systema clone. I recommend whatever bushings you can find that sit flush in the mechbox. I found systema bushings dont always sit flush, but you may have better luck with another brand like king arms, modify or deepfire.

Did any of you guys buy a replacement battery? Seems like the stock battery is a spageti of wires.

hey i own this JG HK416 too. Recently i just change the hopup buckings and tight barrel KUAN-JBU 6.03 mm. Performace wise..i love it. But now i think of changing with higher fps and more proper new installation parts. Have any suggestions?

Why would you want higher performance? It's already at the limit that most fields will allow.

any higher and you won't be able to bring it to pretty much any games, some would only allow higher fps if the gun is semi only.

Some people dont game with their guns, some people who join this site are not always from Canada, so they can play in places that may not have a higher FPS limit.
You want the most push for FPS. Personally, Id redo the whole top of the mechbox and front end. New tightbore barrel, systema 1 piece hopup with sleeve and nubbin, personally I enjoy the deep fire airseal nozzle, and would go with a systema cylinder head, and a piston and piston head of your liking, me I went with systema red polycarb and duracon head. Slap in whatever spring of your liking as well. The spring guide is alright looking and seems solid. So it should hold up to atleast an m120 without problems probly higher too, but if your running something strong like an m150, you may want to consider changing the gears, motor and battery as well.
