I don't have the exact info regarding the who, when or where, but the weapon has been fitted with the KAC M5 RAS in the field.

Been painted an earthy brown too, which led to me at one early stage to do the following .
I had used my airbrush & painted the M5 RAS with Tamiya acrylic XF72 Brown JGSDF.
Very Nice as always Mate!

For reference, here are a few pics of my SA20 with the M5 RAS:

With the Colt IUR:

I've since built a dedicated target AR, I yanked the RAS and put the factory handguard back on. Since I would never be able to mount the RAS without the RSM tearing me a new @$$hole, I ended up just flipping it.

I've got it looking pretty close to the work rifle, but there there are still a lot of missing details, some I still want, some I can live without, some I would like but are just prohib: sling plate, "claw" charging handle, trigger guard, an actual C79A2 Elcan (instead of just a C79 with the green condom), and of course the f/a BCG, lower, trigger group with all the fun bits and 30 round mags to go with it

My King Arms Ops Inc 15th Model suppressor finally came in the mail.
Here are two setups:

This is my main setup, I love shortdots and whenever I play it comes in handy because of the fields where I live.

I plan on getting either a T1 or a EXPS.

The rifle build isn't complete yet, I still want a Ergo grip, Magpul trigger guard, dual pressure switch and a WMX flashlight. Then I'll paint the whole rifle.

I'm fairly certain that you'd have to do a wee bit of modifying to an existing M203 replica to achieve your desired look

Colt Canada L119A1/A2 Reference Gallery (Long Overdue)

So as the title states, this is long overdue. I even put L119 in the original title of the thread but then completely forgot to add a gallery. I'm only a noob when it comes to the specifics of the L119 variants but I know there are enough differences to warrant a separate gallery.

I started piecing together another C7A2 build awhile ago, but this time using my WE M4 GBBR as a base. Not finished yet, but the overall look and feel is there....

So now that it's become evident that the UKSF's new L119A2 appears to be almost identical to the CANSOCOM C8IUR upper, I anticipate some very interesting builds coming out of the UK airsoft crowd. Here's a link to the first (not unlike my initial concept of using a Geissele SMR rail).

Thanks guys

I even used a strip of a Tim Horton's gift card to shim the butt stock to get rid of any wobble.
Some parts like the pistol grip are Real Steel, stay tuned.....

That is an impressive build. Looks a lot like my SA20 right down to the Magpul trigger guard...thinking about putting the original Colt Canada trigger guard back because the OCD is getting to me.

How much of your build is sourced from Colt Canada/Diemaco parts?

Thanks man. I'm real envious of your SA20, she's a beauty !

The pistol grip, butt stock and a trigger guard that I haven't installed yet.

Thanks

She's a total safe queen, brand new unfired except for the 17 or so test rounds from Colt Canada.

Going to pass this one on to my kid one day.

BTW, if anyone is interested and has access to CGN's EE, there's a D marked tri -rail for $100 shipped. It's a bit beat up, but still functions and is the real deal.
