Yeah that is if its not a dummy... Some say its a dummy some says its working, some says Its not wired correctly. See why I am confused?

And even if the connector works there is maybe a problem with impedance...

I haven't found that to be true with the Comtacs. Peltor made me a Kenwood PTT, and it works fine with the Puxings, both receive and transmit. We also have another member of out team that made MBITR to Kenwood connectors, and no problem with the Comtacs as well. I did have an issue with my Comtacs where I could not transmit, but that turned out to be a bad plug in the microphone jack on the headset.

If the PRC-148 form UnitedStar is a good quality product for a real Peltor Comtac II headset (and if it's a good price), put me in the group order.

Noted

The 2nd batch was delayed, apparently there was some issues to solve from the 1st, but my supplier finally got them in... so my 2 samples are 2nd batch. They will ship to me this week.

I saw the retail price go up by about 100$ on RSOV, so I don't know how that will reflect for me... we'll see.

I'll keep you guys updated!

I just received my Peltor PTT.
We are waiting for the radios to be shipped. If everything goes well we should have them at the end of next week or beginning December.

Conker, if possible and you have the gear to test it? Can you look in to using this MBITR replica on PMR frequencies w/ the 6.25 khz stepping (if I'm not mistaken)?

I am aswell looking forward to your review :-)

I don't have anything working on PMR, however from the info I previously got, the stepping should be adjustable in the radio's settings. I should be able to confirm this as soon as I get them.

Thanks for the heads up; I think most of us here in the EU will be awaiting your review and hoping RSOV has finally delivered a long awaited piece ;-)

@Yannos & Conker; can you verify that there is a computer cable in the package (shows one on the pictures on RSOV) and perhaps any software along ;-)

If so might be quiet handy for me to get one and get the rest of my friends to follow.
Also makes it more viable to put on certain PMR frequencies ;-)
