Just because they say something like that doesn't mean you should...

People have survived falling out of airplanes... so yea.. you can survive falling out airplanes.

... Now I'm not saying you should go try it... But humor me

Actually if you watch the video, they crack the top of the mag when they run it over with a 2 ton truck, and notice the tire never goes over the bottom of the mag, the weight distribution is even on the mag and they run it over front to back, not top to bottom. I understand the huge forces involved on a tiny mag but it's still harder to break front to back than it is top to bottom

My STAR plastic realcaps don't break when I drop them from 5ft onto a ceramic floor... neither do the "green label" PMAG-style real-caps.

Mind you, its airsoft and I prefer to keep my mags... so all my reloads are "tactical reloads" in that I do the L and stuff the empty mag into a pouch. You'll only see me drop a mag in airsoft when I'm IN the shit and need to change it out FAST (which is often), but I'm usually in a very low profile behind cover while doing so. If I'm caught with my pants down between cover I'll transition to my secondary and continue fighting until I get to cover, then I'll correct the problem with my secondary.

Just imagine if I used my F150..
You know, this is why you shouldn't be replicating what you see on the internet... Like home movies and stuff that say "do not try this at home".

LOL it's okay, the plates that are off doesn't really do anything at the moment. I can't wait to get the PMAG pull plates to replace it.

As opposed to dropping and possibly losing mags, you can do what some rangers do (and I tried this for a few games works great), get L plates or ranger plates and just paracord them to your vest. So you drop them and they stay attached to you, they dangle but metal mags don't weigh enough to hurt you when you run.

Anyways, if you think your Magpul PTS products are built BY Magpul and to the same standards and quality of the real deal, you are sorely mistaken.

They are all manufactured by a factory in China UNDER LICENSE by Magpul to imitate their design and label. They are not built to withstand the abuse a real operator would endure, as these are not meant to save your life or that of another.

Did it ever occur as to why these PTS products cost less than the real thing? There's obviously a compromise somewhere...
