Hey guys, there's a version 2 RA-TECH Stinger Hop Up for the WE M4s at WGC and no where else that I know of. Does anyone have one of these and know if there's any performance differences between the version 1 and version 2?
Here's a link to the Stinger Hop Up. |

I meant to post this for a while now, I also had problems with the bolt catch once. I've been using this on my real steel upper for about 2 months and have had zero problems. I have not tested this with the WE upper but the dimensions seem the same.
This extra bit of metal pushes up against the wall of the upper and keeps the bolt catch from engaging fully. Only 1mm of the bolt catch face catches the bolt, eroding and smoothing the edge away. I grinded the extra bit of this off and now the extra spacing inside the receiver allows the catch to engage fully.

Hey guys, been having a reoccuring problem with my WE M14.
Sometimes when I shoot, the nozzle seems to get stuck half way on the return half of the firing cycle. And it jams there, hard. Sometimes it'll shoot fine, sometimes it wont. Normally after racking the bolt a few times it loosens back up but I dont think that is good for the rifle. Any idea what may be causing this, and the best solution to fix? Thanks. if you look closely, only one of the 3 pins actually can be punched out. once out, the plate slides off. can't remember for sure but I believe it slides backwards.

the pin directly above the trigger. remove that.
slide the rear body pin out and push out the piece that the selector switches attach to. remember to note the orientation of it and watch out for little bits that might fall or shot out. lol Last edited by coach; October 26th, 2010 at 21:09.. |
