think about it, your eyes are important! you wont be able to buy a pair of eyes for 20 bucks! spend whatever you have to spend to protect your eyes!

Here's a little story. Just for shits and giggles I bought this sweet set of "safety glasses" from a hardware store because they looked different. They stated they were tested by firing a .60 caliber steel ball bearing at them at 200fps! I figured they MUST be safe! I took 5 shots at them with my rifle and the first 4 were fine, the fifth shot went straight through.

Ahahaha, this makes me happy that I'm not going with hardware safety glasses...

On the same note however, I'm still looking for a pair of goggles that are around 50-100$ and fit over glasses as well. I bought a pair of 30$ glasses-styles ones that slide off if I move my head too quickly. Any thoughts? I was looking at some Wiley goggles but wasn't quite sure if they were what I was looking for.

PS: Sorry for hijacking thread.

If you're talking about the LandOps Striker goggles, I just found a link to them and am thinking rather seriously about purchasing them.

I already told you what to do. Bolle makes an RX insert set up for the x800s.

So your options are to

A.Get contacts and buy the x800s
B.Buy the bolle x800s and get the bolle RX insert and new lenses to match.
C. Go ahead and do your little thing and attempt to be unqiue just like everyone else and buy whatever you want.
D. Drop the cash and buy a reputable brand of paintball goggles that have been listed as approved to be worn with glasses.

Buddy, this is airsoft, not motocross. if your gonna be a douche, you may as well just wear dixie cups.

i only said that cuz that is whats available in person/in store around here. if there were paintball or airsoft stores around here then why would i go to a motocross store?

ya know even though you guys are being dicks i still appreciate the input. but i guess you guys dont have to reply anymore. i have to put a set of goggles on hold because of a few things that came up so i probly wont be getting around to buying a pair til next spring or summer when the weather is nice again. .....maybe ill have a bit more money then

I have ESS Profiles and it fits very nicely though my glasses ARE a bit wider than most, either way, they still work; I might get contacts or lasik soon though. :P

Yeah, it'll cost me about $1000+ for both eyes and it does "wear" off after a while... it's not the laser that should freak you out, but the fact that they cut a flap on your lens and then use the laser, muahahaha.

Luckily for me I'm not getting a flap cut into my lens!
