arrrrg, had a nice long review and ASC logged me out, how can I stop that.

Click the little remember me box when logging in.

A good habit to get into is to select all of the text and click copy before submitting in case somehting such as this happens, Especially if its a long post or PM. you could also type it up on notepad.

since the pressure regulator is in the magazine i think it should work with maruzen mags. with mine i can empty nearly 3 full mags on semi auto. if you want to try something funny fill your mag with 0.12g bb's (yes i know this is not good for the barrel but the accuracy actually sucks so... and there is no hop up) you will end up with a huge spray pattern on full auto (like a big blast of 12 gauge)

I do that all the time. ASC, back a couple of months ago when it was screwing all the time, cost me a LOT of time in lost posts, so whenever I type more than a couple of lines now, I always do this.

UPDATE:

I used my TF 11 today as my sidearm at Op Broadsword in Picton, Ontario at the mental hospital that will be hosting Border Wars III. It was my first time gaming the gun. Since it was cold, propane-powered GBBs didn't fare too well until later in the day when temperatures warmed up significantly. So a CO2 powered side arm was the ideal choice.

This gun is a BEAST for CQB. I drew it twice during the day and it got me 4 of my 22 kills. At ranges of 30-ish feet, the gun is pretty impressive considering its modest cost. It throws a lot of BBs down range in a hurry, and shoots pretty accurately. The fixed hopup is set for .2g and I only had .25s with me, so my BBs were dropping a bit faster than they should have been - at about 40 feet or so. But despite that, all the engagements with the gun were at 15-20 feet, so it wasn't an issue at all.

So again, I highly recommend this gun for CQB. Loaded with .2s and providing you have enough spare mags, it can easily be used as a primary.

I was just informed by lemegacool that Maruzen M11 mags (propane / green gas) work in this gun. He got one and it works, apparently producing a higher velocity than CO2. He said his gun chronies at 320 with CO2, and 350 with propane. My gun chronies at 350 with CO2, so not sure what that discrepancy is. But regardless, they work.

The mags are a bit more expensive through eHobby Asia, but in the long term, you'll be saving a small fortune on gas over the higher cost of CO2 powerlets.

And as an added bonus, the Maruzen mags look better and don't have that big knob on the bottom for screwing in the CO2 powerlet.

I'd be curious what the performance would be on duster if you're getting 350 with co2.

Performance would be a lot lower on duster. With my 2 WA guns, I get about 220 fps on 134A duster gas, and 300-310 with propane. And the blowback is quite weak in both guns.

I'm guessing duster would give you at least a 75 fps drop, and probably slow down the rof significantly.

yeah i stock duster for my tm deagle to make it more "cqb friendly"

I epoxied a rail infront of the trigger that lets me put a foregrip on it that helps stablize the kick, I find mine shoots more accurately with .25's out to 30' feet, big drop off after that. I use it as a side arm though so its perfect back up piece.

Yeah, .25 will give you better accuracy, but at the expense of range. .25 need a more agressive hopup setting to get the backspin they need. Unfortunately, the hopup on the TF11 is fixed and set for .2g. But as you said, as a side arm and for CQB, that's all the range that you really need.

By no means are these things long range weapons or accurate. And neither are the real ones either - although I'm sure that range-wise, a 9mm bullet will travel far regardless of the gun it's shot out of. They're made for close quarters and to throw an assload of bullets downrange in a short period of time. And for that, these work exactly like that.
