Hey, if you want to pony up for other metals I can experiment with, send it on down. I used stainless because my roomie had a few chunks of it lying around and it was unguarded. It did turn out a lot better than your standard mechbox metal.

Interesting to see all steel AEG this and that, full steel bodies/barrels/mags/etc, and yet noone has yet to release a steel mechbox shell.

That's exactly why I was working on one. It was much more difficult than I thought it would be.
