Well, it's good gear. It's VERY good gear! HMAK-logos (2004), no crappy repro fabric, and nice, sturdy stitching.
Only, the sizing of the trousers is very small. I'm 6"3"", and the inseam is only just about long enough. The waist size (I have 34-36 waist) is too small, they don't fit. Jacket fits like a glove. All in all an unbeatable package for the price. Real, new M84 fo 50 euros (shipping included), eat that flecktarn.co.uk! |

In fact, I just ordered another set in XL, hopefully those pants will fit me (although Large size BDU's fit me fine normally). Yes, this stuff is THAT good!

Looks good, think I'll order some too! When you say the 34-36" waist didn't fit, which size did you order? I'm 5'11" with a 34" waist and so far all of the trousers I've bought have fit me which seem to be size numbers 1 and 5. Which one did you get?

I got the Large set. Comparison: Tacgear Large KSK-trousers (and every Large BDU I own) fit me perfectly, but the eBay ones in size Large did not. I could close the button and zipper, it didn't hurt, but they were way too tight to be comfortable.
Jacket fits like a dream though. EDIT: label on the pants says size 13. Last edited by Smintjes; April 24th, 2007 at 13:33.. |

Thanks Smintjes, I've been looking for Danish camo on the cheap for a while now. Your review of this seller has been awesome, I just bought a set myself.
Thanks so much! |

It was being sold by the same guy that had the Arktis smock I'm wearing there. It's actually made by Tacgear. Hit up one of Gordon's auctions and he'll usually have a couple not listed under the usual search terms for M84.
You guys wanna see some hard core realcap/M249 action in M84? That Arktis vest comes in REAL handy when your mags only hold 30 rounds a piece! http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y28...capsinM249.flv |

Good on you for those fast mag changes... you just need to watch your six and not leave a baddie behind ya! LOL. Nice look overall...

Thanks!
My buddy there was supposed to be covering that side but sneaky-assed Toastmaster got the drop on us with his Glock. Mag changes with the M249 are SOOOOOOO much more fun than a 2500-round box! |

I asked the eBay-seller if he had any more sets available, and this is what he answered:
Yes. I have about 80 still in stock, (...), I´ll put more to ebay next week. Best regards Juha. |

Little comparison between the eBay-stuff (right) and a 1999 HMAK jacket (left) Cut and stitching are completely the same, but the eBay-stuff is a wee bit darker.
1999 jacket: 50% Cotton/50% Polyester EBay (2004) jacket: 65% Cotton/35% Polyester Hope this helps. Last edited by Smintjes; April 25th, 2007 at 07:10.. |

I wonder if that difference is intentional, ie: they tuned the camo to what they think is better, or if its just a supplier/manufacturer difference.

Well, the stuff sold in these eBay auctions is made in Finlayson, Finland, by Forssa. Any idea where the 1999 stuff was made, Smintjes? Maybe we can figure out why the color is different.

I have no idea, sorry. The sizing is also different: on the 1999-label it says size 12, although it is smaller than the eBay one, which is labeled size 8.
