Ive actually seen a show that had airsofts in it. Although they were supposed to be real ak47's in the show, they still had the "Warning blah blah blah "sticker clearly shown on the gun.
Also in the movie inside man, they break into the bank with ak47's and SPOILER ALERT FOR INSIDE MAN when they are finished, it turns out to be fake toy guns (airsofts) of ak47's. Although they were clearly not during the bankrobbery, they magically switched to toys in the end (the wood was the real tattle tale). |

Atleast in movies like BHD they were using "real" weapons. The barrles were modified to shoot blanks without using BFA's. If you look at one of the M240's or M149's you can clearly see the ammo is blank. First thing i noticed in that movie once i knew what a blank round looked like. ;-)

ya, if your in the navy you have to be able to get hold of some form of weapons, plus the fact that they look realistic beacase they are real!
