HAHA i see a paintball gun. Thanks Mr Officer for saving us from daisy rifles and piranhas!

I bet it took a team of 12 officers working 3weeks of overtime to crack down on this mastermind ;-)

Yeah? Explain the sawed-off rifles and shotguns.

He did have a sweet M1 Carbine (real steel). I would love one of those! but yeah, the media is making it out like this was the hugest bust ever, meanwhile.. its mostly pellet and BB guns.

Sally Soccermom wouldn't know the difference between a Piranha and a Minigun. It's black and resembles a firearm, so to anyone besides paintballers and airsofters it's a long-ranged, high-powered, teflon-coated, sniper-scoped, laser-sighted, high-capacity, large-caliber, rapid-fire, cop-killing, semi-automatic machine gun assault weapon of mass destruction, and they're glad it's off the streets.

What the?????
Heh, thats a nice m1 Carbine and what appears to be a Webely Revolver. Sad shame that they will be destroyed, no respect for history anymore.

Well, I basically see 6 possibe goods that are prohibited.
I dont get why any of the magazines, holsters, air guns, pb gun, airsofts, or knives, are shown in the pic.
Lmao....a paintball gun! I can just picture the gangs running around wshooting paintballs. The thing is, none of those items are prohibited (unless you consider airsoft prohibited). It doesnt even say he didnt havea lisence.
No, the gov't does not need to waste more money on gun control and registration. They have already rambled on spending 500 times what they initially clamed would be spent.
It's sad the media blows this out of porportion. Next we will hear of the old lady J-Walking.
Now...if a large stash of PROHIBITED firearms, Ak's, Ful auto machine guns, Explosives, or that kind of stuff was fount it would warrant an article...but paintball guns???
I can go to Canadian tire and buy half of that stuff.
Personally, I would rather see gangs with bolt actions as opposed to ak's.
What has society come to?
My .02

it simply amazes me at the fact that gangs have bolts actions who they gonna out shoot wit that plus there 2 big to carry so it always seems odd when you see them in a raid gang members perfer sawed off shotys and handguns and small machine pistols like mac 10s almost every gun raid ive seen have old guns from ww2 or ww1 and half are russian stuff.
I think we should ban russians

You guys should really not assume anything about gangs and firearms.

Read up and listen to the audio interviews on this Toronto based site.
Fireams are no joke in the GTA.

check out this audio interview in particular

Gangs learn too you know. Usually you will hear about inefective drive-by style shootings or someone fired 10 rounds and missed all of them. But now they started ambushing their targets like in recent shooting around Jane/Finch where 3 thugs were wating on the roof for victims to arrive. I'm pretty sure that WW2 bolt action rifle with half decent optics and a bit of planing can be a lot more dangerous than a .22 pistol
Do you mind naming those russian weapons you saw? Never seen or heard of any russian stuff siezed to Toronto in the last few years.
