what IS the purpose of the teflon tape? You put way too much on there If you're trying to seal the hop chamber with it, you can't seal a leak from the outside. If you're using it as a barrel stabilizer, you only need one ring at each end of the barrel. |

Added it for barrel stabilizing.
Any issue with having too much? Everything is back together and seems to be working fine. Worthwhile pulling it apart to remove the excess Teflon tape? |

No point now but you only need a ring at the front and a ring at the back. Having the stuff in between front and back makes no difference
|
