I contacted Revision and shipping to Canada with FedEx or USPS is $27.60. USPS seems to be the way to go. I've been a victim of FedEx fees before too.

Unfortunately the discount code only applies to the goggles, not shipping. Dunno if this is because of an international order. The extremely friendly and helpful sales contact at Revision told me to send her an e-mail AFTER placing my order to specify USPS shipping.

I just got mine last night from DS Tactical in Vancouver.
I wore them around the house for a couple of hours to get a feel for them. A couple of things that concerned me…. 1.I found they would lift off my face when I raised my eyebrows opening a gap at the bottom of the goggle. I fixed this by readjusting the strap and raising my eyebrows before putting them on. 2.I did an hour’s worth of work on a GBBR while wearing them. My head was down most of the time and they didn’t fog but formed some condensation which obscured my vision a bit. Once I was moving around the condensation did not reform. I am happy with them so far. The true test will be game time!!! I will be attending an event in the next couple weeks where I know I will be sweating and putting these things to the ultimate test. |

I have been using the Bolle Cobra safety google, which is similar to the Exoshield, but a slightly lower profile. It is a Z87 + system that can change from safety glasses to full seal goggle. The version that is sold as straight goggles comes with just a clear lens, but you can get a foam and strap kit to convert other glasses types (i.e. tinted, twilight, UV, etc.) The foam has small vent holes at the top and bottom that you can see in the pic below.

Just received my Exoshields directly from Revision, and all I can say is wow. They don't call them extreme low profile eyewear for no reason - these are the simplest, most close-to-your-face goggles I have ever worn. They are a lot smaller than I thought, but they fit well. Not sure if I adjusted it properly, but they tend to move up if I move my cheeks or eyebrows. Other than that, goggles don't get more high-speed low-drag than this ;D

The above photo of my Exoshields was taken after half an hour of indoor use. There was absolutely no fog build up, but the condensation definitely blurs your vision. Please note that no anti-fog solutions were used. As technosnob mentioned, significant condensation occurs - though I am not sure how much condensation will occur if Revision anti-fog wipes or Fogtech is used.

Hmm..I wonder if making slits in the foam like the Bolle's would help prevent the moisture build up?

Hmm, has anybody used silica inserts to absorb water? I think some people used cardboard...

My mental image is silica gel packets in the goggle LOL

http://www.silicagelpackets.com/sili...ets-dry-packs/ after a quick search, they're really cheap... combined with a fan, this could be an interesting add-on for normal goggles, although the fan might not be needed. |
