It's not right to kick them when they're down, the way I see it it's a shame, the more retailers
we have to buy from the better, competition benefits the consumer  I will say I was not a fan of their site either, it wasn't all that well laid out and seemed a bit hokey leaving you questioning it's authenticity. Perhaps the reason they're gone. From what I saw though they had no complaints regarding their business practices and I would have bought from them. Chixsoft will be missed. The Chix Pix on the other hand are another topic completely, I prefer not to comment but to say I enjoyed a couple of them. Edit: A going out of business sale would have been nice, a chance for them to clear out their stock and a chance for us to get some good deals Last edited by Kozzie; January 26th, 2011 at 08:08.. |

At least they sold off their stock and bowed out of the game. At least they didn't bite off more than they could chew and end up owing a bunch of money to people.
I'm speculating here but it was probably a side business anyways and profit margins were probably quite slim for the amount of work put into it.

I think it's quite funny (I chuckled during the second page) that so many of you start slamming the models (and I use that term very loosely) of the site. Only a few months ago I recall a thread or two being around filled with fans of these women. Where are those voices tonight?
That said, after not getting any reply via email, having a horrible website layout, even tackier ads and taking pictures with what seemed to be a disposable camera that was left in the glove-box of a car baking in the sun, I'd have to say I wouldn't do business with them. That dude dressed in drag in the photos kind of sealed the deal. Hey, my M203's shoot out rubber dildos but at least I know where to draw the line.

I know Kyle very well, he was trying to sell some of the lower end guns that I dont.
He is an amazing artist, and is quite knowledgeable in the airsoft and real steel business. I enjoyed his set up and if it worked for him then all the power to him...BTW those were his 2 girlfriends.... Kyle is still my hero....LOL

Well different strokes for different folks. I didn't care for his setup (if you are referring to his website) as it did honestly look like a geocities blog. As for the girls, good on him, but I'd take women that don't dunlap. That's my take on things.
If he comes back with a more professional website and continues to offer decent products, then I don't see why he couldn't succeed. He has already established a reputation amongst many of you of having good products (and that of ignoring emails) so people know the name and that can easily work in his favor.

I used to love their website, pictures and all, I am quite sad they closed.
More retailers is better for us. I liked their pictures. I would have bought from them if Submarineman had not offered better prices. |

I dealt with chixsoft a few times.
I wish them well. No complaints here. Airsoft retailers come and go.

Ahhh it took a quick search on the ASC forums to finnaly figure why the site was closed down.... good to know.
Personnaly, I'm fealing quite sad... as many said, more retailers is better for the consumers... And beside, I prefer their unique style to all the other websides, mostly them with ton of unrelated pictures of real marines with real weapons and all that stupid deformed version of what "manliness" should be... wtf. |

Their prices are okish, didn't like the whole orange tip thing.
Most of stuff were mid-low grade (except those that are imported by the masses) As for girls...hate to say don't like them. Even though I'm not attracted to girls in general, the stance does make it quite....disgusting (body is acceptable, stance is not)
