JG HK 416 Review

Is the Full-Metal version always the Version 2 of the gun, where the Version 1 is only the plastica one ?

And is the battery box mandatory if I get a crane stock ?

Edit: Emailed uncompany and they now only carry the version 2.

Coming late to the party but can anyone confirm if last gen JG HK416 ( metal body, 417 style stock ) is compatible with a Systema mech box for the M4/SR16 ?

does anyone know if the jg hk416 (ver 2 plastic) is compatible with a dboys hk416 metal body? apparently you need a new one piece hop up or soemthing? well thats what it says on ebairsoft 'reviews'..and its a little off by like 2mm. but not too sure if it was just him or if its true

any input would be great, thanks!

The RIS will sit about 3mm higher than the rail on top of the receiver. JG and DBoys are not built on the same design. DBoys is a replica of the VFC design, whereas the JG is its own thing.

Hey,
Your preview is awesome.
Im about to buy this gun.
I have one question about it: is receiver full metal, or plastic? Tell me parts that is plastic, and parts that is metal please

upper and lower reciever are plastic.i bought one like 2 yrs ago,not like this one(fullstock and longer barrel).what i did was change bushing to metal one's,change the spring.the only prob i had with this gun,was the spring on the trigger was missing from day one.(it made it jump into safety at times,put new one in,works great)
i got this gun and it was shooting over 450fps out of the box,but that changed after using it to like 330fps,so i put new spring and now shoot 350fps steady.
with that said this is a great gun for the price.

And the JG 416 is still awesome... well... fairly awesome at any rate. I still enjoy, and it's still running for me.

I have a FMU 2nd gen if you ever want to see it. Just need to find the time to downgrade the spring before it's gameable.
