the gas block is the front triangle sight on an armalite style gun, you can get different ones besides that.
the maul is more of an m4 stubby than a cqb length, depending on the hand guard, you might have just the muzzle poking out the end, and if it needs a gas block to clamp on to, that barrel won't take one, did the maul come with 14mm- adapter? because the barrel is actually smaller than 14mm+ on the plus, if you do need one, outer barrels are probably one of the cheapest replacement parts. |

But if I need to replace the outer barrel for a longer one I'll need to replace the inner as well right, once the bb leaves the inner it could just bounce around the outer one for that extra length.
I also just got the whole gun apart, nicely into a box. Very basic, realizing if I really wanted to upgrade everything hardcore then I could just buy everything separate and build it.
