That will help you getting the thing apart.

i might be wrong but isn't a cqb a 10.5" barrel? the maul uses a 6" or close to it.

the hand guard will work, but the barrel might be to short without a new one.
Thundermaul's barrel is about 7inch and i beleve the cqb will be about the same size? Im using Hk mags in my gun and it works fine no wobble (mag brand) i don't mind if the barrel is shot as long as it fits the silencer and hanguard nicley, i want it pretty compact, though i do have a silencer adaptor and the kit comes with one so who knows.

the gas block is the front triangle sight on an armalite style gun, you can get different ones besides that.

the maul is more of an m4 stubby than a cqb length, depending on the hand guard, you might have just the muzzle poking out the end, and if it needs a gas block to clamp on to, that barrel won't take one,

did the maul come with 14mm- adapter? because the barrel is actually smaller than 14mm+

on the plus, if you do need one, outer barrels are probably one of the cheapest replacement parts.

mine came with a KURZ silencer and it has an adaptor that fits the thundermaul barrel nicely so if its smaller than 14mm.the adaptor end is actualy bigger than the barrel end, the adaptor bottom fits the barrel end

But if I need to replace the outer barrel for a longer one I'll need to replace the inner as well right, once the bb leaves the inner it could just bounce around the outer one for that extra length.

I also just got the whole gun apart, nicely into a box. Very basic, realizing if I really wanted to upgrade everything hardcore then I could just buy everything separate and build it.

Would this gun be an hk416 exactly?
