Seems to be set up for a lefty to make one smooth draw and insert into a pistol.
If the pictures are coming from where Lerch suspects then the guy is a real "dissect the photos and then build the exact matching rig" type of geardo and the pistola he was running was a Tanaka Browning High-Power since he's dressed up as a SAS CT soldier.

that may be but the way mags are placed in the pouch make that impossible. the cup section holding the floorplate means you cant draw it from the left hand and the floorplate getting in the way of the elasticized band means you cant draw it from the right. yes i know its a moot point fashion mags but ill still nitpick it even my dummy mags are for the same make of pistol ... yeah i know...

I'm thinking some sort of tearaway on the elastic, then you just drive the mag right into the well in one smooth motion.

Ah, looks like a project for me then. I got a quote on a jumpsuit and the flash hood, 65GBP ($115 CAD) for the overalls and 45GBP ($80 CAD) for the flash hood with a total of $35 shipping, if anybody was wondering
