biggest help for snipers

I know wearing ghili suits is very helpfull but even more important than your camo is a friend that can help you cover and stuff natural vegatation into your suit. A ghilli suit can stick out like a sore thumb but when you add matching cover from the area you are planning on playing in you can really disapear. I leave my leg drop in the safe zone because it sucks to crawl with. as far as extra pouches not really needed for most applications because most games dont last long enough. I will not usually bring a side arm as by the time enemy gets close enough to see me they take the mercy or a single shot to the torso if they choose. I played a match that put 8 guys against me in a sniper hunt and one by one I managed to take them all out. allthough I have played with a guy that put me to shame many times thoughout the day with nothing more than a vsr10 and a head ghilli. he was one good sniper.

i'm a little more aggro than the idea of a sniper seems to be here so i stay light on the ghillie and a little heavier on the gear.

-eagle belt
-safariland p226 holster with a pistol inside
-eagle sas dump pouch
-2x tornado nades in sds pouches (very handy when pinned)
-small alice pouch with multitool
-small miwo military pouch with spare mag
-triple eagle p226 kydex open top mag pouch with mags
-maxpedition small rolypoly mounted up front for turbo fast pistol reloads (in case of shit) or for carrying my trusty claymore

ghillie is just on my head, gun and shoulders because that's all i have exposed 90% of the time anyway. Getting snagged and hot with a big stupid ghillie makes me extremely angry and feel vulnerable. if you know how to use cover and work on your pistol skills, you could easily match or beat your friends in kills even at a fast skrim field. oh yeah, and use dark brown/green bdu's (tigers, woodies, flecktarn, panteras etc). the ground is dark, multicam is trendy and all but you're more visible than you think.

PS you're probably talking about me there georgehutchison. always a pleasure to come across posts like that.

i carry nothing but full m84 , my msg90 and a sig sauer 226 for back up. a small camo-net for hiding upperbody if needed. my spotter carries the more heavy things as , radio , more ammo , food etc.he has and m4a1 and the same back up as me .this is mostly for games on one day. are we out for more days(week ends) we make a rendezvous point between the op and the enemy(point a to b.) where we can reload and get the gear and return to the op knowing we are not being followed.
normally i dont get to fire a single shot , sometimes its better to get info back to the other guys that travel in 3-5.men patrols and just stay in place to observe and dont give my position away.it can be a looong day that way , but its so funny when the "enemy" passes you real close and just dont know:-)
