you're close enough to the border you can have it shipped to Blaine Enterprises. It's a mailbox company, they charge $5 a package I think. Right across the border. Easy way to get past the ship only to the USA part.

Both Ebaybanned and Ehobby have cheap Dboys M4 gearboxes for cheap (if that's the direction you want to take).

MP5 is V2, you just have to change the selector plate.

well the d-boys gearboxes seem to fire rather nice. i have a v3, its sound is very smooth and not high pitched, and fps between 390 and 400. though it takes a 9.6 battery to run efficiently

No it doesn't.

You can run Dboys on 8.4 high MAH batteries (3000+)

I've never needed a 9.6 battery in the entire time I've been playing airsoft...

and I use to run a 450 FPS Semi-auto M14 Ran perfectly fine on 8.4 3300 MAH

well this one does. even on a 8.4 large battery its firing is sluggish, and when fired in auto it will lock up if you try doing bursts. the only thing that fixed it and got it shooting again was a shot with my lipo plugged in. we bought a firefox 9.6 mini and stuck in it and now it fires fine like a normal aeg. no sluggishness and no seizing. but then this is a v3 im talking about. i had a similar problem with another v3 where the spring was too strong even for a firefox 8.4, the only thing that ran it was my lipo

we have three m-type aegs here. they all run fine off 8.4 minis and the 9.6 is way too much power. maybe v2's require less power to run well

its one thing i sometimes dont understand. like why does this battery power this aegs gearbox so beautifully and yet even at a full charge its not enough to get one shot off on a different gearbox

What I once did when I was in your situation, was to buy it anyway. Once you won the auction he is bound to ship unless he goes with the trouble of an ebay dispute.
