That's weird considering all my G&P hop-ups are too small to fit a Prometheus tightbore with a Prometheus Purple bucking. I have to use the thinner Systema bucking to get them to fit in the hop-up unit (and I've tried this setup in 3 different G&P hop-ups).

I've never personally had a problem with G&P hop-ups, but I have read of problems with them so I won't recommend them to people.

I had a Guarder black hop up rubber + Madbull barrel fit in loosely.

Guarder black and prometheus red are both the fattest rubbers I've ever used, and they wiggled inside the hop up.

I threw the G&P into the pond across my house after that.

I see...the loose fit to the barrel would certainly be an issue. Is this typical of what you've found for G&P units? So much so that you'd not recommend them?

Odd, I've not experienced the same poor quality or lack of quality control that you indicate, but if it's a current trend, I'd want to keep my eye out for it.

That was my first experience with G&P hop up actually.

I've actually ordered two G&P hop up unit from ehobby before this incident and now I'm quite regretting it. Hopefully it's as good as you say, and not the same quality of what I saw myself

I've installed a few G&P hopups (4-5) without any issues with various tightbores from Prometheus, Systema, madbull and TN.

I like King Arms products but I though the O ring thing was a bit gimmicky with their enhanced hopup unit.

Sorry to revive this thread, but there's alot of talk about hop up from G&P to King Arms to Guarder.

I'm going to star away from G&P, that's forsure. My dboys cannot feed with my new star magazines I've bought.

Which will feed my STAR mags and 100% work and fit? Guarder or King Arms?

I was at the game today, used my TM lower reciver and used a 2 piece hop up, worked flawlessly. It was amazing, maybe a hit and win for this Dboys body.

My G&P hopup in my dboys body feeds fine with KA mags. Perhaps you should try one of those?

my propblem lies more with the feeding its not the hop up although the g and p did fix it a bit it has more to the height i thing i might have to send it away to fix the feeding isshue mine sufers form the same problem so im going to end up fixing it alsthough i did remove the grip as i wantted a change and naturaly i hold the mag for aming so its not all that problmatic its only if i was going to pull some rambo shit and fire one handed.
