Riot face shield or real clear ballistic face shield mess with your sights. Unless you cut a notch in it like many eurpean forces do.
You still have to wear ballistic glasses under, since the shield can be knocked open. I'd love to have one, but it would be completely restricted to CQB use because of the bulkiness.
