It lets me get to their website, but it wont let me track my package. Grr.. Good thing I trust the guy who shipped it, bad thing I don't trust CP.

Screw UPS. Twice. They leave "signature required" packages under my door mat. I almost stepped on the last one! The guy doesn't ring the damn door bell, I once literally saw him walk up to my door, place the package and immedietly leave.
Plus, if you ship from across the border, they rape you with as high as 50% or so brokage fees that are not mentioned in your shipping quote. Not that CP is perfect, but my postal lady is very nice, and thus on my end, the service ends up very good. So many rifle sized packages coming to the door, haha. There was this one time that really pissed me off though, but it was when there was a replacement postal guy. He delivered a brand new .22cal airrifle to the wrong street (but correct number) in my area, signature required, and left it on some ladys door stop. Tracking said package delivered too. Lucky she found my address and told me to come by and pick it up, and thank god she didn't open the package! Cheers, Alex

second the UPS hate.
They are an awful awful company. I would trust CP over them in a fucking heart beat. |

I love watching the CP hate on here 'cause both my parents have worked there for well over 10 years. It's funny when I show them these threads....they just nod in complete agreement and understanding haha. (it's nice to have stuff brought home a day or two earlier from the plant too)
Ya, figues the fucking site fucks up right when I have several international orders coming in. |

Well, I just spoke to a CP representative on the phone from their head office and she said it's just the tracking service that's down, but it's not affecting the actual deliveries, so chances are, I'll have my package in my hands before their system comes back up. She said they're hoping to have it back up by tonight, if not tomorrow morning.:smack:

Wait is it USP or USPS that charge that bullshit 50% broker fee?

There's certain nuances about the Canada Post system which still don't make sense to me. On top of their website being shyte. I ordered some extra mags from TheWarStore in Tonawanda, NY (Basically a suburb of Buffalo, NY), I live in the GTA....so somehow the route they've taken is to cross the border in Buffalo (understandable) then they went allllll the way to Montreal for sortation, back to Mississauga and then to the local P.O. Wtf didn't it just go to Mississauga? Gas prices extra cheap for them or something? [/rant] |
