I just ordered a box of MAG HK M16 mags(box of 8).

So today showed me that I have even more work to do on the fitment issues. However, I did discover that they fit quite nicely into the CA metal body on my buddy's CA SLR105. This is a better base to build an AKM from anyway.
From both my TM and the CA I used, the mags fed flawlessly and smoothly. I observed no double feeds, and sometime every last BB in the mag fed out. I would say that in this area, the MAG midcaps score high. Final verdict is; if you feel like possibly dealing with all kinds of fit issues, these mags are great!
