Is it true that a gas blowback pistol can outrange the super 9?

Most likely all full framed gun with propane. Accuracy is another story, but then again the benchmark is a super 9.

Did I mention the 3.5x sight?
CA36 doesn't have a bi-pod, and the export sights seem to be whatever power was lying around the factory at the time. Mine is a 1.5x.

You might wanna look at the top center where it says " Canadian Retailers"

If you have your heart set on a bolt action, don't cheap out. Quality always pays off in the long run.

3 options at the moment:
007 airsoft (http://www.007airsoft.com/)
A&A airsoft (http://aasurplus.ca/disclaimer.html)
airsoftcanada.com classifieds

To the best of my knowledge, there are no other reputable retailers that stock guns right now.

The only way to find a "local retailer" would be to browse the classifieds and find a local player that has stock for sale and is willing to meet face to face.

So get age verified ASAP. Quick suggestion, attend a game where you know there will be a rep, so you'll get verified and be able to see the guns before buying.

I think that sniper is an okay newbie gun,, But I would always start something like a pistol or a little full-auto

I was about to type a bunch of really mean things, but I'll just say this:

Foxtrot alpha india lima.

Until you fully appreciate what I just told you, lurk more and stop spamming the damn boards.

An AEG is pretty much the only recommended way of starting out.

Only if you believe that a pistol/springer is a comparable match to an AEG. This isn't Counter-strike, R6, Halo, CoD, etc etc and any other 5 dozen FPS games. This is real world physics and a bolt-action/pistol simply does not have the accuracy or range advantages that FPS's would lead you to believe.

Sure in CS you can zoom in and pick someone off at over 500M but in airsoft, good freaking luck.

Get a solid AEG first and go from there. If you find you like to sit back more and take single shots at people...sure go for a sniper but if you go out on the field expecting to bunny-hop and taking people out with a sniper from 200+M...I've got some great beach front property to sell you up in saskatchewan.

I need to get it shipped clear, but i can probably spray it.

It is spring, so reloading is realistic.

Is it upgradable, and should i upgrade? I heard snipers off the box are like regular guns with a slower reload (the bullet doesn't go as far like a sniper would in RL)

Thanks, and help the noob
