I have 2 250lb rubbermaid tubs of them under my deck outside, with another 1000lbs waiting for me at Xtreme Tactics (indoor Airsoft facility in Winnipeg). My good friend Gordon Lai runs it and just collects them and places them in 40 gallon drums for me, they go thru literally a rice bag (80lbs) of BBs every few days, so it's pretty much a endless free supply of expended BBs.
It's an excellent idea but I have I've used the peas in "other" projects and they are lighter and dont have the inertia that the BBs do. The SEAL LSV that it is mounted on is actually sold to XT as soon as I receive some parts I've been waiting on, so in his case he has zero ammo supply problems to worry about.

Great job! Perhaps a few vids of it working when you got all the bugs worked out! Very impressive piece of hardware!

Would love to learn more about the design. Also have a
big interest in seeing something like this be developed for use by DOD as training tool. Any help you can provide is much appreciated. Andrew Van Der Plaats Non Lethal Training Munitions, LLC Website Address: www.nltm.us E-mail: info@nltm.us |
