No.
Post #7 shows you the new reinforced slide stop metal piece that the gold match has. Post #9 red highlight is the area apply the gasket maker(blue glue) to in crease the thickness of the wall. Post #14 shows after I applied the thin layer of gasket maker(blue glue), you can see it between the metal piece and the slide wall. Like I mentioned before, if the little screw holding this reinforced metal piece is loose, and already worn out between the slide and mid frame, then you add this thickness using gasket maket(blue glue) to fill the space. If not, then don't try it. You decide it. If you have no confidence or experience to do it, forget it and get gun doc to do it for you. Red arrows are the area apply glue, blue arrow is the screw holding the metal piece. Good luck !

I use gasket maker that it's easy to get it in auto parts and accessories store. The reason I use it is that flexible like a cushion.

I watched your video and noticed the blowback cycle was not all the way move to the point for slide catch. Can you check to verify?
If it is not far enough, disassemble the nozzle see anything cracking or broken. Have you even lube the pistol slide and nozzle? Also check the slide catcher and the reinforced metal for any excessive wear on the contact points?

Based on your last two posts, assume the slide stop (slide catcher) is not spinning freely and causing this issue. Try lube the slide stop inside the spin and see.
If this is not working, we'll start it again to do the full diagnostic. BTW, take close up pics show the contact for slide stop and the reinforced metal piece, I want to see how le is the wear after 500 shots cycle.

Last try.
See the pic below. first load empty mag and cocking the gun for ready to shoot. Then use your left thumb slightly press on the slide in 45 degree, the force is good enough to push the slide to left and down, also allow it blow back and slide. Fire it see if it lock or not. Try couple of time to prove. If locked, the same problem I had. If not locked. We will take a bit long process to find out.
