There needs to be a Survivalist Softer. The guy who plays to train for the Apocalypse and has 1000MREs in his basement.

What about the Milsim only guys.
Scoffs at anything skirmish like, is pure milsim and wont touch anything that doesn't have a real ROF only uses real caps, has all real gear but it is barely worn in field cause he only goes to like 3 or 4 hardcore milsims per year. And any wear is mostly from him wearing it at home with tools. |

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

You mean those borderline militia guys? You know they have mess kit as a team requirement?

'The Athlete'
Age Range: 25 to 45 Rarity: Uncommon Regards Airsoft as sport and recreation. Generally gives no fucks. Will purchase functional equipment based on personal experience, often checks stitching before the brand name, and checks the price before the colour matching. May look plausible to milsimmers or rag-tag and almost noobish. Uses 'real' tactics and maneuvers only when parallel to situational necessity, and/ or when trying not to irritate milsimming friends. Would generally speaking rather charge headlong than sit in a thicket all day. Delights in the success of non-standard tactics. Generally misunderstood by all other player types, and widely despised for one retarded reason or another. Has fun anyway. |

'Rolling thunder'
Age Range: 18 - 40 Rarity: Uncommon Despite being on the slightly... Well, very overweight side, they still have the passion to head out and play despite the fact walking to the field will tire them out. Best used as a sub-classification of airsofter, there are many 'Rolling thunders' out there that either make an incredible effort to outsource gear to accomodate themselves and weapons to boot. Or just wander on out in whatever they happened to wake up wearing in the morning. Often ridiculed, often underestimated! |

The Techie
Rarity: Uncommon Age: 20-50 The first thing a techie does when he gets a new AEG is open up the gearbox and regrease and reshim. Considered very well versed in the art of airsoft maintenance and performance upgrades, techies spend a good deal of time dispensing useful information on forums as well as repairing other airsofter's guns. On the field you will find techies rocking the latest computerized MOSFETs, sorbo pads and Prommy barrels. They are also aware that Systema upgrade parts are overpriced crap. *BEWARE* not all Techie's are equal in skill, some just go on youtube and disseminate inaccurate information The Speed Freak Rarity: rare Age: 20-50 A subcategory of the techie. Like the techie, the Speed Freak is well versed in the art of airsoft performance upgrades but focuses on one thing: getting his gun to shoot as fast as impractically possible. Nothing turns a Speed Freak on more than pics of a dual sector gear. Because of this, speed freaks won't even look at any gun that shoots slower than 35 RPS. Hence, their condescending attitude towards Systema PTW users. Typical airsoft setup will be and AEG with a dual sector gear, ACM neo motor, non AB MOSFET, lots and lots of SHS parts, and the largest lipo that he can afford. You can find Speed freaks on the Airsoftmechanics forums trying to outdo one another with their high speed setups. Can usually be found on the airsoft field impressing little kids with the sound of their high speed gun. That is until their SHS piston shatters/pinion gear strips/ACM neo motor dies/lipo catches on fire.

The trader.
Trades guns and gear like some do stocks. Rarely using stuff for more than handful of games. Claiming to just be looking for that 'right' piece. |

You should add the following to geardo:
"Everyone thinks he's afraid of getting his gucci kit dirty, but he actually jumps in the mud just to make it more realistic". Fuck you Deadpool :P
