Wow you beat me to it thanks.
Yes I have the Land Ops just fresh load came in. With a Tint and Clear lense $39.95 and you can wear your regular spectacles under them. I've peeled the foam off around the outer edge to allow better air flow and reduce fogging. But I also have the EZ Gogg Fanz to help for the really heavy days lol. Cheers Jeroon |

I don't understand how you can wear spectacles physically under those. Doesn't the rim push against your glasses branch?

I second the contacts if you can wear them. I dumbly wore my glasses under my goggles at Greenzone a couple years back and spent more than half the game blind as a bat and unable to do more than searches of prisoners. Now every chance I get where the temperature is above 5C I wear them

It's not advised to wear contacts for 24hr games.. Which is where I see the RX inserts shining.

Got one myself I Love it. Designed to work over glasses it's comfortable and low profile. I can look down the iron sights of my AKs no problem. The fan is a added touch for quick defogging. Works fine with my helmets and radio headset.

Kinda off topic, kinda not. I'm kinda pissed off with my prescription goggle's fogging issue, and had to make holes along the side so they won't fog up. However, with my close sightedness getting a little bit worse over the last two years, I've already bought a pair of regular glasses with new RX. Should I decide to start wearing them, I would also want a new pair of safety apparatus for airsoft use with matching RX. Would anyone recommend these with retention straps? Since they are designed to be worn like sunglasses, they shouldn't fog up right? http://www.opticsplanet.net/ess-cdi-sunglasses.html

Anybody who wears spectacles will tell you that they will still fog up.
Dude going through the goggs I have atm and there is a pair of ESS land ops in Black, OD, and first I've seen in Tan. The rest don't look like they will have enopugh space for the glasses underneath. |

Glasses
Get glass lenses not plastic, I have 2 sets of glasses my mains are glass I have very little in the way of fogging under normal paintball goggles. I also have a more "normal" plastic set, they fog constantly no matter what I use for an anti fog.
In the wet and cold you will get some fogging, if you have poor goggle ventilation and you don't move much. If you are out of shape and overheating that will make the fogging much worse. |

There are limitation to what can be done for people who wear specs. when it come to fogging. Period. Airsoft (&PB) is unique in that we are Milsim at greater risk of eye damage than the military. So an airsofter going in CQB close has to wear Goggs even if they are fogged to impediment. Where a Dynamic entry team mate in a police force will ditch the goggs in favour of clear vision.
The US has a soft frames set of specs to be worn under any manner of Goggs. Diver Snow Ballistic Dust/wind. I don't know if this would be a good alternative to your Rx goggs. But you are welcome to come in and have a look at them next time you are in town. Cheers |

I know several people whom have had good experience with laser eye surgery. They can see better than ever before.
On the flip side, I only know of one person, (personally know)who came out worse but he was legally blind to start with, without both glasses and contacts on at the same time! The risk was high, but the pop bottle glasses were getting really big and heavy, so they went ahead hoping for the best as it was only getting worse anyway. |
