Its a great storage for winter, but during summer, unless its a very calm one where I don't play often (like this year), I wouldn't take the time to don the BDU on it after every game... I could just quickly hang the vest, helmet and mask on it, just cause a white, naked male manequin in my bedroom would look fucking gay... lol.

It wasn't really my intention to be doing a mannequin full-on dressed up to the nine's with BDU's etc.. but rather to get something to deal with the bulky gear (vest, helmet, weapons) in terms of quick-on quick-off storage. The BDU's can stay in the dresser drawer, and the boots in the closet.

I've got to fabricate/whip up a helmet stand-off for the neck, so it isn't quite so precarious.. but this'll work just fine for my purposes.

And I'm not saying its gay; I'm saying that it may be perceived as weird, and that having a human-shaped shadow standing in the corner of your room is kinda creepy.

I opted for a grid wall panel to start of my gear display, I will be picking up a full sized mannequin at some point to fill up as well.



It really depends on the woman for whether they get creeped or not.

When I started dating my lady I had two M4s above the dinner table and she didn't mind, nothing like a candle light dinner with guns on the wall above ;]

I have since moved them as that was temporary until I picked up the grid wall but it's still out in the open by our computer desks.
