The pics shown in the earlier thread were of product that had been exposed to excessive heat. I have seen other brands exhibit the same type of deformities, some much worse. Any BB made from plastic or biodegradeable material would do that. I've got some ECO Bastards from one of my customers that look like little potatoes they are so deformed. I'm sure they did not leave the factory that way and I highly doubt they were sold in that condition. I know the samples shown in the other thread did not leave for the client like that as every sample bag is hand packed. For those who have had problems with my product (and I'm sure other brands reps/suppliers would like this), please contact us with problems you've had. It would be nice to know if there are issues with the product we could address with our suppliers. It's very disconserting to hear about problems for the first time in a public forum and not have any info to go on as to if it's an actual product issue or a gun/mag issue. I was at OP Mason Relic the entire event and I heard of no issues being brought up at the event from any one. As Oborous said, airsoft guns can be just like real guns. Try out several brands and use the one your gun performs with best. If you want to try them out, PM me your address and I'll mail you some samples of whatever weights you want free of charge.

I know several local guys who bought green devil ecos at claybank then a week later at another local game had double feed and jaming issues with the same batch of bbs, at that point I disposed of all the green devils I had at my place and continued to use the bastard ecos I had sitting in my garage from last years claybank game. I've left them sitting beside a windOw which gets all the afternoon heat and they still work flawlessly.
Over the years I've also used excel, elite, guarder, guarder heavy grade, tm, evike, tsm, metal tech, and a few others that I can't remember the names of. I've always ended up back with my Bastards as they are the only ones to never disappoint me. |

I use green devils I have tried the .20 and .25 so far, not any .30's
This is due to the fact my local store only carries green devils I have had some double feed issues, but I believe double feed is a magazine problem at least for myself. I had Zero problems with either of my hi cap mags, double feed occurred only when using a mid cap Kings Arm plastic mag(120) I will someday order some bastards and try them out. |

well the devils should come soon i am however using a ca m24 so i don't think double feeding issues will be a problem normally BAR dont have mag problems even the horendouse m24 mags ,but will see. i guess that like all airsoft comps green devil may have had a control problem in one batch. meh happends to the best.

its this sort of kindness we should show to all airsofters we are members of a sport that has grown from nothing and with pball doing bad its our time to show the world that airsoft isn't about walmart guns in the backyard but that its much much more. thanks for the offer darklen but money is not an issue so i dont mind buying a few bags. In short I think
If you want to run 0.30g bb on bio, run Green Devil If you want non-bio or heavy weight (0.36g, 0.40g, 0.43g) run Bastard If you want to save money and your gun don't mind run Green Devil The biggest complaint I have against Bastard is the cost, they're more expensive than Green Devil in the bio sector, My gun runs fine on both, I went with Devil because its cheaper. |

The only problem I've had with green devils is when I left a pistol mag in my gear bag in my trunk for a week. The extreme heat warped the bb's and they stuck together. keep them out of 40 + heat and you'll be fine.

Bastards value and consistency outwiegh EVERY other BB out there. I would never try and save $2 on a bag of BBs with the chance that is will damage a $1000 gun. That is not smart. Consistency and shelf life, as well as I have NEVER had a jam, even on a drum mag. I was given a competing "premium" bag for free, and decided to use them to burn off a few drums at a target....bad move. Looks like I stripped the gears in my mag not following my own advice.

My CA 249 Jammed on Green Devils
My ICS L85 Jammed on Green Devils (had to pick them out. then when I did I found one in the hop with a skin around it.. NICE.... showed it to Amos and well we both had a good laugh. the Even Jammed in my MP9 GBB Yep.. sorry can't trust bbs that are bad. one of the BB's I pulled out of my 249 from Chrono (never ran it the first day) was not round... it was oval... anywho just my experience. I never bought Green Devils for CB I stuck with BB Bastard. BUT I will say this... I do hate Bio BB's took the 1 bag of BB Bastards I had left and about a week ago put them into a bunch of my MP9 Mags. then never gamed the MP9. the gun and the mags loaded sat in a car. in about +30 degree heat. anywho 2 days later went to empty the mags and had to pick every bb out of the mag by hand something went seriously wrong with the Bio BB from BB Bastard.. I wish we could run the regular styrene BB's at claybank... Much better.. anywho my experience Never will by Green Devils Won't buy BB Bastard's Bio BB again unless Claybank forces me to... |

There is a reason that they are stored in sealed bags with silica gel packets to absorb moisture.
