My three ipads do all the same thing, it's really suck except my blackberry playbook can view forum like desktop. hope it can fix soon since my ipad is my major device to view ASC in different room.

...and I've cleared the cookies and cache and it still does it, so I'm pretty sure it has something to do with this website's settings

While this should be addressed and changed, in the mean time you might want to use a new browser such as Atomic that allows you to view Desktop versions of any site that does this kind of thing (hotmail is another). Some of the downloadable browsers are really nice actually.
Thats the extent of my knowledge though, I'm pampered by my android |
