SRC hop-up

So it's used as a standoff to push the hopup unit closer to the mechbox then?

As far as o know thats what its for. Until i see another src m4. I cant confirm

While you are at it, does SRC incorporate a SCS to their nub/arm? At least that's what I heard.

My SRC hop up has SCS, and it is molded as part of the arm, it can't be removed.

Confirmed that it has the SCS on the nub/arm. I just dont like how the SRC strips though. You have to tear everything from pistol grips to stock tube to get the upper receiver off to get to the hop assembly

hahahahah yep... that the problem with the SRC m4/m16/hk416...

You can always separated the upepr off without disassembling, but you'll rip some internals off...or break the rear body tabs...

but that pain the ass reflects in the sturdiness of the gun when assembled!

on my SRC 416 i only need to take out the front body pin, and i can slide the upper and outer barrel off and get at the hopup, no rear body tabs on my 416 either.
