Overall I still thought it was pretty good for the price. The biggest flaw I saw the polarizing filter on, you could clearly see the gost/reflection of the internals, was it the same on yours?
I only had that issue when i looked directly at a bright light source. My issue is that it wont work in complete darkness or low light situations. Do you have this issue with yours?

Yes wich is why at first I was sure that it didn't have a battery because I was under the impression that the battery was to feed the dot in low light condition.

Great, I've actually been wondering how the Element optic turned out, and also - great review. Can I ask for clarification on what the polarizer actually does? I did look this up for the real steel, but can't recall the answer and I think I remember thinking that that would be useless for the Element version.

basically is like putting adjustable sun glasses on your scope.

you can tint the view with a mild tint or to a full on near black.

but i found its easier to remove, than to Google for an answer of WTF it is for lol.

Received mine, really nice optic. But one question: Is there any way to turn the reticle off, or it's always on? Because i received it with the reticle already turned on, and i dont see any button to turn it off.

nope, always on, you can dim it by keeping it in a dark case.

Isn't that the sight the Demolition men had in Ghost Recon 1?

Don't know, but this sight is on the SOP MOD Block I (as do M68, ACOG TA01, PVS-14)

It was used in America's Army 2

Yeah you see the whole damn internals reflecting when the filter's at the darkest. I'm still debating if this thing is worth trying on the field...
