I've seen that with my own 2 eyes, and I must agree. Leave it to the French so we can ogle!

I have had ripstop Multicam shorts from TAD Gear for a couple of years now. Nothing new and ground breaking to be found here folks.

Does TAD Gear still offer them? I checked with those guys earlier. Propper is just now starting to offer their version to be clear. You guys are pretty funny. I am in Arizona so I do a lot of desert hunting, i.e. Javelina. It is a bit hot here for pants sometimes. I am hoping for some knee coverage and no ass peekage.

You know, I think the Multicam was probably a limited run. TAD doesn't use knock off fabrics and the availabitly of real ripstop multicam is limited, and or expensive, so when they do get it, it usually isn't allocated to shorts.
I don't see that they are offering Mutlicam shorts anymore but do have their force 10's and Spartan style shorts in Tan.

I think I object to the words 'viral' and 'scam'. The term viral implies that it has spread all over the internet which at this point would be wishfull thinkng (for the company at least). Im not sure the post could even be considered 'infectious' at this point. Furthermore I'm not sure the poster claims the shorts to be 'miraculous' but I like the sound of it. The post may well be an 'ad' however doesnt appear to be a 'scam'. It seems at least at this time... its the only place multicam shorts are availible. You dig up dirt on people? I thought Canadians are known for being nice?

Object to it all you like, I stand by it.

1) Viral means spread, IE. Using forums in different countries to pretend to be a "customer" is called Viral Advertising. And he has already made 2 posts advertising this crap in unrelated threads. I think you should look the definition up.

2) Scam means doing something to trick or deceive someone. Pretending to be a "satisfied client" to advertise your own product is low and underhanded and in my books.. a scam. This has been tried by other companies (*cough cough* bioval) and failed.

3) I dig up dirt on people because part of my job is to research competitors, who they are, what theyve done, who their CIO, CEO are, what systems they run, who hosts their servers, what OS, etc etc.

4) Your brand new to the forums, JUST registered, and the first thing you do is "object" and defend this person with your first post?
I call Shenannigans.

Thanks for the update. I saw VT selling cargo shorts, but I am not sure if they are BDU or just some off brand. I am waiting on mine and should get my order around the 15th. TAD does have some good stuff, so I would have picked it up there sooner if they had it.

First two posts for a BRAND new user. Your not even from Canada yet twice you post links to the same american dealer and not a single post you have made is even airsoft related. Youve only talked about clothes and patches and shit. 5/7 posts you make are in this thread, 6/7 regarding this website.

SHENANNIGANS!!!

If it is an add scam or not I don’t really care, that is up to the admins to decide if they want to lock/delete/trash the thread. But you have to give it to the guy, he may have just joined and you guys are ragging on him, but proper use of capital letters, decent grammar and good spelling, as well as being able to hold a conversation. That is better than half the regulars on ASC.

I can appreciate it, but I don't need any defense. It did take some time for me to find BDU shorts in MultiCam and I thought some people would be interested. If you are not interested, then don't read the thread.

I don't even have the shorts yet, so I can't tell you if they are good or not. Nor did I give any endorsement or care if anyone likes them. I am in 40+ heat and shorts are nice to have in the Desert. Plus it fits with the terrain here.

I don't think anyone here takes offense with a new member joining, and although those of us in the US are a minority here, there is a wealth of airsoft information here on ASC that makes it attractive to players in the US and around the globe. Because airsoft is a game based on honor, however, there is an expectation that members of the community will be forthcoming about their involvement. You run a retail site (it's not hard to find your facebook marketplace page,) but you post here as if you don't--and that hurts your credibility. People can easily google your text from your post and come up with many hits that lead to the same site, IP address, physical address, etc.

Many of us are current military, former military, law enforcement, or just plain gear heads, so we love a good deal on uniforms and gear--especially the Canadians because it is hard for them to find a US retailer that doesn't gouge them on shipping. So starting off on the wrong foot just makes it much harder for you to be accepted into the community and sell here.

Bingo!
Youll find, Credibility is everything here.
Without your word, you have nothing. If your word is tarnished, you will have less than nothing.

Here are many examples of viral marketing being detremental to businesses. If you get caught, it can damage your business irreperably.
Some BIG names are on that list.
