If you want to counter snipe in airsoft, find the sniper first, and organise a squad manuver with an effective base of fire. That will either pin/kill the sniper, or force him to move and then, he's not effective anymore.

More like you just told us what to do so you can get us in the back...
Still, an AUG is one of the best platform you can get for a DMR... the gun stays compact and light (if you don't install something like on the one I posted), yet has a very long barrel. The mechbox sits at the rearmost of the gun...
