there is a 7.62 MP5 ... HK tries to make all their guns as versatile as their uses.
but if i were to use an MP5 it would be a MP5 navy. i mean he's got the tac light, so why use an MP5A3 ?

i don't how you guys are able to make such deffinite conclusions.. without seeing the back especially.. if the movie didn't suck so hard i'd try to watch it again in slow mo so i could maybe get better pics...
but i won't.. and i'll just take your word for it. the RRV has been on several websites and is a pretty nice looking vest. as long as it's black and the voodoo tac vest is nice aswel. hrmmmm maybe i'll just buy both of them :P lol it would be nice to find a website that has the sheeth, pistol holster, and the vest that way i can save on shipping. thanks guys, you've made this so much easier than the way i was doing it. thanks farmboy for replying on here rather than PMing me i appreciate it.

After looking closely, it look like a RRV but with the buckles and the added molle shoulder straps.
a typical RRV does not have the buckles near the front bib and not as much MOLLE attachements on the shoulder straps. Like this vest.

The sniper pic, I got it somewhere on the net. I tried to re-find the maker of the vest, but I can't remember who.
As for the viper tactical, if bummed the pic off another thread here. Check their website, they sell it.

yea i was just on viper.uk.co .. and they don't seem to ship to Canada or us or at least they don't list any distributor's.
they have a few really nice ones, i just googled viper vest, and in images saw a few that caught my eye. this isn't what we were looking for, but speaking of nice viper vests, check this bad boy out. http://www.a5og.net/product-retailer...at-system.html

Its not an RRV.
In the second picture, notice the little strap in his groin area. The RRV does not have that. Just above that strap, notice the gap between the middle PAL webbing rows. Indicating a split front design. Again, the RRV is not a split front design. Zoom in real tight on the MP5 pistol grip. If you look real close, you can see the top part of a D ring. You can also see that D Ring ACAFD in the first picture. In the first picture. Look center of mass, just below the glock about an inch. If you study it enough you can make out a strap that is connected to a buckle. Again...the RRV does not have this strap. With the above stated criteria, check out the picture below to confirm that the vest used in the movie is in fact the Voodoo chest rig. Sorry...i'm a stickler for detail. Take the time to do the proper research and pay attention to detail.

so this isn't an RRV? what is it then IIRC? so far this vest is the closest i've seen. from what i can gather since you only mention the voodoo chest rig than maybe it is one of those. if so, then i'll be more than delighted to buy one thanks. thanks a lot.

OK...the "mainstream" company that makes that style of vest is SOTECH. SOTECH BLoCS line. Navigate your way through www.sotech.com and look through their "Government" kit line. I have one of their Go Bags and their quality is pretty good so if you're really considering buying this rig, don't buy the clone, but the real deal.
The chest harness itself doesn't come with the padded modular shoulder straps like seen in the picture I posted earlier but you can buy it separately at least. As for the MOLLE/PALS webbing bib, not quite sure if it comes with one. Look around on the SOTECH site to find out if its a sold separately item. Happy hunting.
