well if you need to sand you will have to repaint anyway, the white will be covered.
when sanding between coats, if you use water, be sure to thoroughly micro-dry the surface before the next coat, if you don't it will wrinkle again and again for ever until the end of times.

good call. maybe i will sand her, paint her black, then DULLCOAT it, because the dullcoat is VERY nice once dried. it looks far more authentic then just a flat black paint would.

I just exploded the plastic slide doing the upgrades.(yes I know)
However, the fps wasn't that high: 270 fps with .25g (ironically, that's what made me think it could be acceptable using the plastic slide in the first place.) it seems that the KSC Glock26 kicks like a mule after upgrade, but all this power doesn't really make the bb go faster. Mike, did you chrony yours?

funny you should say that, because the TM i am building now, doesnt kick as hard, but it has SICK distance and accuracy.
it is weird. i can shoot things from SERIOUS distance, and hit them on the first try, yet the TM will not bust through a can like my KSC could. it is like the KSC is for CQB only, while the TM is a "sniper pistol". i don't know how else to describe it. peep these vids. first is KSC, second is TM......... now, both video's suck, but you can tell the KSC just has more UMFFF. BUT, i can hit a beer bottle at 125' with the TM on the first shot, and a trash can at ~ 200' in fact, if you look at this pic, you see a tree line in the background. from standing IN THE GARAGE, i hit a hawk sitting on a tree at the front of that tree line. my son even said "daddy, why does that gun shoot so much longer than your old one?" (he's 6) it is remarkable. but if it can shoot so far, why cant it bust through cans? here is the pic, looking out the garage at the tree line........ |

yeah, but only half way through the mods, and it was a consistent 285 for ~ 10 shots.
after that, i know it broke 300, cause it mutilated cans, top, bottom, through both sides etc. BUT, it was inaccurate, and had like a 50 foot range. in fact, if you look at this next pic, you can see how close the tree line is, well, i tried to hit a gopher from about where i was standing to take the pic, and i missed him with every shot. both buns using green gas, and .30g BBBAstards. (PS, dont mind the car pix, they are actually the areas i plink around, and you can see the tree lines pretty well, so it is a good representation of distance. oh, and i build cars for fun, so all my pix have cars in the ) |

newbie
Hope its not too late for me to catch you on this. First of all, awesome work. Its been difficult for me to find info on this gun. I am looking to mod the KSC G26c. I don't want to go all out, just want to put a metal slide, outer barrel, new inner barrel, and recoil spring in.
My question is how do you take some of the pins out? I have been fooling around with my gun and can't seem to get most of the pins to budge. Is there a secret? Special tool? I just ordered all the parts mentioned above. Only one I am worried about installing is the inner barrel. Thanks |

only two pins gome out that you need to take out, and you lightly tap them with a tint awl or a small screwdriver if need be. it is VERY easy.
pic's 14 and 15 are the basic premise here... http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/In...k-t126819.html |

When you say tuned for green gas, what exactly does that entail? Can I use green gas in my G26c as it is? Also, do the .30 bb's really make a difference compared to .25? Distance and accuracy wise? Thanks |

Tuned for gg means it can handle it, all ksc guns are relatively safe for gg. You should be fine.
As for the .30's, they make a WORLD of difference, get them, you will not be dissapointed!!!! |

Thanks
Thanks for answering. The modding begins next week when my package arrives. I bought this gun 5 years ago in Japan. My friend dropped the clip out 2 months later and I hadn't touched it since. Now that I'm back looking for parts they seem hard to find. I appreciate your input.
