G&P Elcan
Hey guys, Looks like Airsoftparts.ca is selling a 75 dollar Elcan. I'm pretty interested in this since its the last thing I need to complete a C7 Build.
Though, the cheaper price got me wondering, so I did a few searches on google. Some people are claiming G&P are just rebranding some cheap china brand clones to compete, can anyone confirm this? And does anyone have one of these elcans? Search results on the forum only bring up elcans in general. No brand specifics. Any help would be appreciated. |

Thread on it from a while back.
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...ighlight=Elcan G&P calls it an Elken, I have seen it pop up on a few HK retailers over the last few weeks as well

I bought an ACM(?) C79 Elcan off of Huang a while back. I don't remember the exact price but IIRC it was less than $75.00
I have no complaints about the one I own. |

Go with Huang's Elcan replica. It's one of the best on the market, whoever the maker is. I've seen a couple of G&P and I was less than impressed with the optics. I use the CA M145 replica and it's got the best optics of all Elcan replicas I've seen to date, although it's not 100% accurate to the Canadian one.
In short, if you want the best optics (and better functionality since it's illuminated red / green with 10 brightness settings) and don't care about 100% accuracy for looks, look into the CA. If you want absolute authentic Canadian look with trademarks, look no further than Huang.

As a post script to my previous post.
The funny thing about my Elcan replica is that I have used its emergency battle sights to target more than the actual scope when gaming. Go figure. |

Shiftsup, What is the picture like through the scope? I mean using BUS sights for general shooting is a given but I'm sure the scope itself is usable.

The scopes view is fine.
I just have a tendency to use its emergency sights. |

Alright, thanks. I bought one and some bb's from Airsoftparts, I'd buy an elcan from Huang but i'm saving up for some upgrades on my AK47. I'll do a review on it once it comes in.
