Looking for the correct parts for new build

So I finally found a retailer who has gotten me my King Arms Vltor-Mur receiver. I have decided that I'm not gonna put my crappy G&G gearbox into a receiver that cost me more than my entire G&G gun. So with that in mind I've done some research and now know that KA receivers can take KA, TM and Systema gearboxes without modification to the the receiver body. I have decided to go lipo for this build but I am unsure what internals from the above three brands with stand up to lipo use. I have been advised to stick to all the same brand of internals. So which of the three brands I've mentioned will best be able to stand up to the abuse of lipos? Are there lipo specific gears, pistons, etc...?

Im doing pretty much the same thing here. My advices are:

- Lipo build, go with Systema Gearbox. Recent King Arms batch mechboxes have major inperfections on them. Systema is much better. TM is fine too but obviously it's harder to find and isn't reinforced.

- I'd say you can go with stock Systema mechbox internals, however it is a good idea to have a mosfet to stop the trigger corrosion that happens with using lipo. Also be careful to buy the mechboxes that have the correct wiring for front/rear battery compartments.

what front end do you have in mind?

Thanks Skaldfin. I plan on useing a DD lite 7.0, and a 14.5" barrel. I bought a Vltor flash hider but I didn't know at the time it didn't have trades on it. After some searching I've found that the G&P version does, so I'm gonna order that.

What about your front end?

No problem,

here are a couple things to make sure:

-Read reviews on the front end you are about to purchase. Notably it's mounting method and over all "solidness" of the rail.

-investing good money on a good Outer barrel can improve many things. Mainly the airseal(The hop up unit is semi mounted onto the outer barrel), accuracy(Bore size of the inner diameter), and barrel wobble.

-Make sure the G&P flash hider has the same threading as the outer barrel you are going to purchase. Most G&P flash hiders are Clock Wise unlike the other 95% of the market. This is because G&P uses clock wise threading on their AEGs.

I'm using a King Arms Troy MRF 10 inch rail(Very simple mounting and extremely solid) with DYTAC 10.5inch silver outer barrel. Flash hider is a King Arms Knight's 05 type flash hider.

Don't hesitate if you have any further questions. Always like to help guys build a custom gun.

I really like the Modify TORUS gearbox, filled with Prommy or Modify parts at your preference (I went with a modify SMOOTH FTK), along with a TriggerMaster. Seriously, the design of the TORUS is nothing short of outstanding - redesigned/reinforced tappet rails go straight through to the front part of the mechbox...I'm betting this thing can handle 400++fps without flinching. It uses a proprietary tappet plate, but on casual inspection it looks like a standard tappet plate can be modded easily with a rotary tool if you want a backup. I'm going to be running 470 fps on mine; we'll see how she holds up.

Alternatively, I also like the reinforced 8mm G&P mechboxes fitted with Kanzen ceramic 8mm bearings. They have a steel trigger pin insert that helps with the common problem of the trigger pin breaking and forcing the trigger switch back into the gears.

Thanks for the suggestions Skruface but I'm gonna stick with the three brands KA suggests. But does anyone know if I can use those Torus gears in a Systema gearbox? I saw that there is a Systema high torque gearbox that you can buy all together. I'm pretty sue if I buy a complete gearbox it will save me at least $100.

Personally the Systema Revolution seems like a great gearbox however it goes for something like $450 USD. A Systema drop in gearbox is good too ($250 USD).

Otherwise you can't go wrong with a gearbox shell and Modify parts (or in the case you can't find all of the parts you need, Prometheus)
