Goggles
hello :salute:
after being victim of the worst enemy of every airsofer (the infamous goggle fog). I decided this time to not be cheap buying goggles, so doing a lot of research i found the Revision desert locust in mach1 airsoft http://www.mach1airsoft.com/web/catalog.php?cat=10 pretty cool goggles but a little bit expensive. from 90 to 150 bucks. everything OK at this point, but then i found them in capital airsoft for 55 dollars OMG http://capitalairsoft.ca/store/index...roducts_id=412 my question is. are those gogles in capital airsoft a worth, i mean, are they cheap copies or the ones in mach1 are just ridiculously overpriced (3 times more)???? thank you every and sorry if i put this treath in the wrong section.

sure- the more expensive goggles may have more advanced antifog layers and whatnot, but i dont think they will eliminate the fog. i had my ESS TacticalXT and ripped off all the foam around the goggles and still they were fogging. then i added a little fan with batteries on top of the goggles- and this move had a big effect on eliminating fog- however not completely. then i moved on to ess ice naros and couldnt be happier. however from time to time even the naros fog.
key secret is to have constant air circulation. thats it. |

ESS goggles are great for not fogging. Occasionally my glasses fog inside of them, but I've never had them fog on me directly. Alternately or in combination you could use an anti-fogging solution on them, something like Cat Crap (before you look at me funny, that's a brand name) or such.

get a pair off ess profiles and if you have the cash buy the turbofans. I changed the lenses out for thermals and now I only turn the fan on at breaks as a "just in case". Thermal lenses are worth their weight in gold!

well, the main reason why your goggles fog up is because you either have two different tempuratures where it causes condensation, or you're breathing too much into your goggles and it's clouding from the moisture in your breath, or there's not enough ventalation so that the moisture from your sweat evaporating condensates on you goggles. See if any of this helps to find a cheaper way of getting good goggles.
