Video codec help! Anyone having problems with my grenade vids?
I'm ripping my hair out trying to fix audio track issues with my grenade videos. Some users are reporting a very large difference in volume between the voice over and sound effects in both of my videos. YouTube for some reason is also affecting my volume levels.
Are other users having audio problems? What media player are you using to view my media (revision number)? http://www.airsoft-innovations.com/v...adoVid2_lg.mp4 I'm having problems working out the audio track with my two grenade vids when uploading them to YouTube so I think theres something in common with the way YouTube does their file conversion and the way some user's media players are interpreting my audio track.

It seems fine for me unless you mean the part where it goes:
"during your training you will face with *and then in a different tone* FUSTRATING *returns to previous tone* tasks" I'm using Quicktime plug-in version 7.2

That's unfortunately normal. We had to comp in that word into the original sound track because we were unable to recreate the voice.
The problem we're having is that the original track comes out very quiet with all of the comped in effects and "frustrating" coming out comparatively loud.

I wouldn't say there is that great of a volume difference but rather the original is more muffled whereas the "fustrating" is clear as a bell
it's noticible if that's what you mean

well, you guys seem to be getting the audio ok. Some users end up jacking up the volume to hear the voice until a sound effect blasts in and loosens their earwax.
I think there may be an audio codec issue at hand.

I'm not having any issues playing this with VLC. Mind you, VLC plays damn near everything.
YouTube doesn't like MP4.

Well, it doesn't like my WMV or MOV attached soundtracks either.
